We are seeking a skilled System Analyst with substantial experience in the banking industry. This is a great opportunity to manage the end-to-end deployment and delivery of IT Infrastructure for various projects.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or other related field;
  • Possesses over 10 years of professional experience, preferably in banking environments;
  • Proficient understanding of ITIL processes;
  • Provide 24/7 UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Systems and Production support to ensure seamless operation and timely resolution of issues;
  • Knowledge of Middleware components, including JBOSS, APACHE, WebSphere Application Server, and IHS; support installation, configuration, and maintenance of these components;
  • Possesses operational experience, ideally in supporting critical application systems;
  • Strong infrastructure and technical background, with expertise in Open Systems platforms, firewalls, load balancers and a solid understanding of information security principles;
  • Demonstrates effective leadership skills, collaborating with application teams and service providers;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Familiarity with Vulnerability Threat Management (VTM) processes, with the ability to track and report on overall VTM schedules and remediation efforts;

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end deployment and delivery of IT infrastructure for projects, encompassing deployment planning, setup and testing, pre-production readiness, and production cutover;
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers, application teams, infrastructure SMEs, and service providers to meet project objectives;
  • Prepare and submit necessary change requests and requisitions for infrastructure deployment, including facility/VM requests, IP/DNS/Hostname requests, and SAN requisitions;
  • Deploy infrastructure setups in accordance with bank policies, standards, and approved solution designs;
  • Manage risks and escalations encountered during project deployment, driving towards effective resolutions;
  • Achieve target SLAs for infrastructure provisioning and complete project deployments per agreed schedules and plans;
  • Ensure disaster recovery (DR) readiness in compliance with bank policies;
  • Interface with Infrastructure, Project Management, and Application Development teams to facilitate infrastructure setup readiness;
  • Manage firewall changes according to application requirements, and oversee DNS and SLB configuration requests;
  • Configure Akamai for existing URLs, including DNS changes, firewall modifications, and link proof adjustments;
  • Support IHS changes, including proxy configurations, SSL protocol disabling, cipher changes, and change requests.
