We are looking for a IT Project Manager having experience in managing IT applications and specializing in Consumer or Retail Banking.
This will be a great opportunity to drive and manage project end to end delivery including requirement, design, testing, deployment of applications within a reputed bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent;
  • Over 10 years of direct experience managing IT application projects;
  • Proven track record in overseeing the PMO and ensuring effective project delivery;
  • Experience in banking products in Consumer or Retail Banking;
  • Expertise in budget management, financial tracking, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints;
  • Ability to establish project governance, cadence, and adhere to best practices;
  • Proficiency in using JIRA for project tracking, task management, defect tracking, and reporting;
  • Ability to work with external vendors and manage relationships with diverse teams across business and technology;
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates;
  • A process-oriented mindset with a focus on adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • PMP Certified.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the PMO, ensuring its effective operation and alignment with organizational goals;
  • Develop governance frameworks and cadence to ensure consistent project delivery standards;
  • Oversee project budgets, ensure spending within limits, and maintain accurate financial records;
  • Ensure efficient coordination and collaboration across multiple teams to achieve project objectives;
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to final deployment, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology, providing updates and maintaining alignment on key deliverables;
  • Coordinate testing activities, manage defects, and ensure quality standards are met.
