Looking out for an SAP ABAP Technical Consultant who will be responsible for successful delivery of ABAP development and support for the organization's SAP Finance system by collaborating with functional analysts to deliver development deliverables on time, within scope, and with good quality.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering;
- At least 5 years of experience working with SAP, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP/4 Programming with SAP development tools;
- Participated in at least two full life-cycle SAP ERP implementations (either S/4 HANA or ECC) and at least one roll-out/support project;
- Experience and knowledge of working with SAP FICO, including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Fund Management, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Workflow and User Exit;
- Experience in Dialog Programming, ABAP/4 Dictionary, SAP Queries (SQ), Interactive ALV, Logical database, Report formatting and events, Dialog, SAP data migration tools (e.g., BDC, LSMW), BADI, Customer and User exit and forms, SAP Scripts, and Smart Forms;
- Experience with reports programming, interface development, performance tuning, modification and support of SAP customized and standard programming;
- Good experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Model;
- Experience working with SAP HANA Studio, Fiori, SAPUI5, JavaScript & JQuery Framework, OData Development, and third-party downstream system integrations (Inbound and Outbound);
- Good experience with integration with external systems;
- Strong in verbal and written communications, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Knowledge of SAP Tables, Infotypes, Fields, Domains, and ability to create Search Helps;
- Good understanding of SAP business processes in Finance, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Project System, or HCM.
Responsibilities
- Part of the team to provide daily operational support for SAP Finance including analysis and requirements detailing;
- Oversee the functional design review process to provide guidance and recommendations for best practices;
- Develop custom SAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms to address complex business problems based on functional requirements and conforming to technical specifications provided;
- Deliver solution enhancements and consulting services for enterprise systems, systems integration, and solution introduction;
- Clarify and translate customer requirements and inform business liaison regarding deliverables for assigned requests;
- Prepare configuration rationale documentation, functional specifications, and creation of test scripts for UAT for every change request or enhancement;
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance tests;
- Analyze and execute SAP FICO changes as part of projects for new entity setup and system rollout;
- Document details of requests according to IT governance frameworks and capture or update relevant knowledge for transitioning product to support.
